How to Reset Your Office 365 Password
If you are unable to log in to your Office 365 account due to a forgotten or expired password, follow these steps to reset it:
Go to the Office 365 Password Reset Page
Open a web browser and visit https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com
Enter Your Email Address
Type in your full school email address (e.g., username@school.edu) and complete the CAPTCHA verification.
Choose a Verification Method
Select one of the available verification options:
Email: A reset link will be sent to your registered alternate email.
Phone: A verification code will be sent via text or call.
Security Questions: Answer the security questions you set up previously.
Enter the Verification Code
Check your email or phone for the verification code and enter it in the provided field.
Create a New Password
Enter a new password that meets the security requirements:
At least 8 characters long
Includes uppercase and lowercase letters
Contains at least one number or special character
Confirm and Save
Re-enter the new password and click Submit to complete the process.
